Beginning in 2016, Thermal Exposure helped a garage-run business grow into one of the hottest brands in personal mobility. Metroboard is the second oldest electric skateboard on the market and well-known for being one of the best boards on the market without question.

Thermal Exposure has helped cultivate that brand by building a slick, fast, easy-to-use website, writing copy, producing videos and actively promoting the brand as an enthusiastic customer. Metroboard has done most of the work themselves by excelling at customer service and building the best electric skateboard money can buy.

In 2020, the company was sold and Thermal Exposure still provides support under the new leadership. In 2022 Thermal Exposure helped changeover the site from WooCommerce to Shopify and helped to establish more efficient and cost-saving workflows.
